Since we at ECP would like to first and foremost present quality, good looking releases and lots of nods and salutations to the Devil and all his minions, we start by quoting the mighty Venom. For many, Black metal is considered spikes, probably corpse paint and lots of tremolo picked minor chords. For us – It can be this, but it´s much more the thought of being the opposition to all that “normal” people like. We can be the ones with the other look on life, the different taste in music or the unpopular opinions on television shows. Hell, we can be what we want and now that we are turning 100 releases it´s even more clear to us what we are and what we always be. The opponent to boring, the adversary to commercialism and the enemy of streamlined. We simply must DO WHAT WE WILT.

By Marking the 100th ECP release we can say that it was obvious that it had to be our Austrian friends. A masterpiece of commitment and sound, and lo and behold, soon you will also have a 45 minute documentary to explain it all! News about this will follow in the coming days, so look out for more info. INSTITUTION D.O.L. has been a creative force for many years, and finally their new album Agape :93: has been unleashed! The album is a scarlet-coloured stunner both in sound and vision. Get it while you can! If you are comfortable with living on the edge, or in love with something beautiful or even the lack of loving something, you can find something truly meaningful here.

The colleague of Agape :93: album is the perhaps a bit lesser known ADOLPHOBITCH This compact disc will be ready for postal service from February 20th due to a small delay in the printing. The Eros Erotique Ephemere album deals in harsh noise, power electronics and ambient soundscapes. 5 bodies – 5 songs. This album is available digitally and on cd.

SIGN OF EVIL – New album coming March 20th ! Psychodelic Darkness is the name. Unpredictable, dangerous and extremely free of the limitations that what normal people call normal people suffer from is the game. This Chilean band is like a Venom on acid using distortion and chorus effects without limitations, simply because it sounds awesome. You could find them performing a late-night gig at an drugs and alcohol-heavy occult gathering of suicidal satanist vampires who got together for a proper feast of flesh and blood before the suns first cold rays. Due to high demand we´ve decided to go for a second print of Abbath Doom Occulta´s first solo record – The fabulous I – “Between Two Worlds”. Mixing Abbath´s music with Demonaz frosty lyrics and re-introducing the one and only Armagedda on drums, this version will be available in super-nice black and gold on two different coloured vinyl’s. We shared this the last time, but we still can´t find a recording of I live, so here it is with The Abbaths in 2016.

ELDFÖDD, are saying goodbye to guitarist Johan Jannson. A true brother of death metal, Johan leaves the band with respect for a job well done. But who is his replacement? No other than the legend that is Johan Bergebäck. Playing twin guitars with Sebastian in both Nifelheim and Necrophobic this ignites a new era for the Swedish death metal force. This will be awesome. SISYPHEAN is out with a new video and single from the forthcoming album “Divergence”! Black Bird that Brings no Joy brings sinister atonality to your screen and provides us with a inspiring creative outlet of their unique-sounding black metal. True to their musical legacy and their history, it´s also open to new inspirations. This makes it both fresh sounding and timeless. Here they are at Prague Death Fest earlier this winter.

PHANTOM FIRE is back from their voyage raiding Europe together with Aeternus. The band is playing Kulturhuset February 14th together with Morax. We found this from Prague a couple of weeks back. If you are in Bergen, come to the sabbath! Missing some Phantoms in your collection?

VINCENT REVENGE – Two years ago the Finns finished the recordings for “Unveiling the Ancient Shrine” EP at the Black Floyd’s Analog Studio and now they are gearing up for the return to the very same location in March to create what is to become the 1st VINCENT REVENGE LP ! – We at ECP are very excited.
