The latest from ECP HQ – From all of us to all of you!
We now have new headquarters located at Bryggen in Bergen! Bryggen, the old wharf of Bergen, is a reminder of the town’s importance as part of the Hanseatic League’s trading empire from the 14th to the mid-16th century. Now ECP´s trading empire continues this tradition. Mainly it will be our office, but we will keep shop there from time to time, so if you are in Bergen, you can of coursedrop us a line (e-mail or on facebook) if you want to check out the mini store. We can open on demand if necessary.
We have just received a fantastic sounding I «Between Two Worlds» vinyl master, courtesy of Patrick W. Engel / Temple of Disharmony. Test pressing approved and main production set for first week of December. We ship out all orders as soon as we have them here shortly after. It’s still time to get yourself a copy, but they are going fast as a Norwegian Olympic cross-country skier with great tailwind, so don’t be late!
HEIMLAND «Der torv moeter hav» was just released last week, and the feedback has been very good so far. Available on all formats from the ECP shop of course. Earlier this year they finished a highly successful tour with Taake and labelmates Asagraum, and recently they played Stockholm in support of the new album. Check out this interview with Fanden and Lord Thames by Ken Morton of Highwire Days
There is also an upcoming HEIMLAND gig in Bergen at Kvarteret on November 28th!
The highly acclaimed ANZV record “Kur” has been out for some months already, but it still smells as fresh as a Mesopotamian barbeque. If you haven´t checked out this amazing Portuguese band yet, you can check this video of Namtaru that premiered last month.
