Sometimes, just sometimes, it’s possible to get burned out on black metal. Not so much the genre as a whole (far too much variety to be found within these wretched, crumbling halls for that), but more specific aspects of the sound – you might find yourself thinking “Ugh, another dissonant / raw / whatever band.
